Why Geolocation technology is key to a faster mobile checkout

According to Statista, by 2020 5 billion people worldwide will own a smartphone, and according to Facebook's Shifts for 2020: Mobile Service Economy report, mobile is estimated to make up 45% of the UK's retail eCommerce. All this means retailers need to look at how they can offer a quick, easy and convenient experience.

To help online retailers learn more about digital shoppers we ran a survey to 500 UK consumers asking them about their mobile shopping habits, biggest frustrations and if speeding up address entry with geolocation was key to a quicker checkout experience.
