Loqate Verify will parse, match, format, transliterate and enrich unstructured or semi-structured address records into valid addresses for 250 countries and territories in the world. Verify gives businesses the capability of having and maintaining the highest quality location data possible.

Global Reference Data
The Global Reference Data is Loqate’s proprietary master database which contains the most comprehensive premise level location reference data in the world, covering 250 countries and territories. Loqate curates its reference data by securing and combining multiple data sources for each country and territory, beyond official postal authorities, with geospatial and utility companies’ datasets into a consistent and reliable single view of a location.
Parsing Engine
The Loqate global Parsing Engine consists of AI and ML models, lexicon and context tables created specifically for each country and territory. The Parsing Engine standardizes unstructured and semi-structured data, placing address elements into the correct fields and eliminating erroneous non-address data. AI Parsing enables greater address verification and uplift rates in existing as well as hard-to-address markets where input data is ambiguous or abnormal.

AI Parser enables greater address match and uplift rates via its ability to handle non-address elements in input data for existing as well as hard-to-address markets, delivering an incremental 19% capability in developing countries like Indonesia, and significant enhancements in established markets like Germany (+13.8%), USA (+8%) and in the UK (+3.9%).
Address Verification Code
The Loqate Address Verification Code (AVC) provides information about the completeness of the input data, the level of verification that could be achieved, and the amount of change that was needed to reach that level of verification. The AVC returns four scores: Verification, Parsing, Postcode and Match scores. Customers can use the AVC to set acceptance threshold rules based on their specific use cases and risk tolerances.
Transliteration
Verify transliterates words or letters from different global character sets into either native or Roman characters across 8 scripts including: Cyrillic, Hellenic, Hebrew, Kanji, Simplified Chinese, Arabic, Thai, Hangul.
Geocoding & Reverse Geocoding
Geocoding will append a latitude and longitude coordinate to a verified address, while Reverse Geocoding identifies locations nearest to a latitude and longitude coordinate, further enhancing the precision and value to any geospatially-aware application.
Verify is able to add geocodes to premise-level addresses in 120 countries worldwide, including point-level (rooftop) geocoding in 60 countries.
Postal Certifications
The Loqate Verify engine will perform certified data processing for postal authority-approved address verification in the U.S., Canada and Australia. Customers can qualify for postal discounts on mailing and list services, further assuring cost saving accuracy for any mailing initiative.
